People Bloom, a small group practice in Redmond, is hiring ONE full-time W-2 clinician for a hybrid or telehealth position.

Current Opening

  • Fully licensed clinician, or associate-level clinician, with preferably ONE year of post-graduate experience working with teens, adults, and/or couples.

*Our full-time clinician would schedule 25 clients a week and end up seeing roughly 22 clients. You may choose to see more clients, but you’re not required to.

Who We Are

Hi, I’m Ada Pang. I started out in solo practice, moving through all the stages of building something from the ground up. Eventually, I came up against my own limits: I wanted to serve more people and make a broader impact—but I couldn’t be all things to all people.

Having worked in settings where paperwork was overwhelming, caseloads were too heavy, and leadership felt disconnected from the frontlines, I made myself a promise: if I ever grew beyond just me, I’d do things differently.

At People Bloom, clinicians work with the clients they’re most equipped and passionate to serve. We value a healthy work/self-care balance—so we have time for our families, our hobbies, and the things that make us whole.

This Work Deserves Sustainability

Therapy is relational, emotional, and often heavy work. As therapists, we lend our nervous systems to our clients—we show up, stay present, and hold space for some of life’s heaviest moments.

That’s why we’re looking for someone who can commit to 25 client hours a week and still have a life outside of work. We believe sustainability allows us to show up more fully—for our clients and for ourselves. Our team includes working parents, clinicians returning after a break, semi-retired folks, and those who want to focus on the clinical work without the weight of running a business. However you come to this work, we hope this is a place where you can grow, contribute, and be well while doing it.

Small by Design

We’re a small, intentionally-sized group of 6–7 clinicians. I, the owner, have always gravitated toward smaller spaces—whether it’s venues, gatherings, or teams—because that’s where I feel most connected.

We don’t specialize in one specific modality or clinical niche. Instead, clinicians bring their own training, interests, and passions—and we help build a caseload that fits. You might be the only one on the team with your particular focus, and that’s something we celebrate. Whether you're early in your career or have been doing this for years, we believe you bring something valuable to the team.

Why We Exist

At People Bloom Counseling, we believe people often feel stuck—unsure how to move forward or change their circumstances. We help them find their way forward, take meaningful steps, and get closer to the life they want.

Characteristics of the Clinicians who Work Here

  1. Empathetic – We begin with your perspective and we honor the path you’re on.

  2. Courageous – Some conversations are difficult and we have them anyway.

  3. Present – We show up and bring care and attention to every situation.

Actions We Take to Help You Make Meaningful Changes

  1. We affirm – We celebrate every effort you make, no matter how small.

  2. We approach – We face discomfort to do what’s needed.

  3. We initiate – When we see a problem, we proactively drive a solution.

Our Story

At People Bloom, we believe people want more for their lives and relationships—but without a clear way forward, they feel stuck.

We offer perspective and skills tailored to each person’s unique challenges, empowering them to take meaningful steps toward change. When people have additional tools to face their circumstances, they find hope—and that hope fuels continued progress.

When people make meaningful changes, they live fuller, more vibrant lives.

A Caveat

While we’re known in the community and have a steady flow of referrals, it often takes time to build up a caseload that’s a good fit for you and your clients. As you can tell throughout our website, we invest in content to build up the caseload of each clinician and their specialties. These marketing efforts are collaborative and will require your time and patience, especially in the early months of you joining the practice. We’re looking for a clinician who’d be willing to step into that space.

Perhaps you’re hoping to leave community mental health and do something different. Or, maybe you want the flexibility of private practice and the feel of a small community without the worries of running a business. Whatever the case, there’s a lot to learn at People Bloom.

FAQ

Q: How is pay structured at People Bloom?
In addition to the benefits noted above, compensation at People Bloom is based on a fee-split model:

  • Associates: 45% split, which includes regular AAMFT supervision.

  • Fully licensed clinicians: 50% split.

Our average reimbursement from insurance is $125 per session, with higher rates for private pay clients. Because we bill insurance, pay may be delayed until reimbursement is received. While this can create some early fluctuations, most clinicians find their income stabilizes as their caseload builds.

Here's a quick breakdown (based on insurance-only sessions):

Associates -

$56/session × 22 clients/week × 48 weeks = $59K/year
$56 × 25 clients = $67K/year
$56 × 28 clients = $75K/year

Fully licensed -

$62/session × 22 clients/week × 48 weeks = $65K/year
$62 × 25 clients = $74K/year
$62 × 28 clients = $83K/year

Note: After three years with People Bloom, your percentage split increases by 5%.

Q: Is this a hybrid position?
Yes! Clinicians at People Bloom have the flexibility to see clients in-person at our Redmond office, remotely from home, or a combination of both. While the mask mandate in healthcare settings has been lifted, we continue to mask during in-person sessions if a client requests it—though such requests are rare.

Q: I’m starting (or thinking of starting) my own private practice. Can I still work at People Bloom?
It depends. If your private practice serves a different client population than your caseload at People Bloom, then let’s work out the details. Otherwise, it’d be difficult to avoid a conflict of interest.
