In-Person, Online, or Walk-and-Talk Therapy for Teens and the People Who Love Them
*I have a waitlist for insurance clients. I’m currently seeing private pay clients while my LMHCA license is pending with the Washington State Department of Health.
Hi, I’m Kristin. With 20 years in education as a teacher and school counselor, I’ve walked alongside teens and their families through some of life’s biggest chapters. I understand how school, identity, and friendships can leave teens feeling seen, unseen, or caught somewhere in between.
But I’m here to help.
I get teens
Teen years are full of big questions and big feelings. Who am I? Who do I want to be? Where do I fit in?
In therapy, teens can show up as they are — curious, unsure, or figuring things out. They’ll be met with empathy, zero judgment, and practical tools to handle school, friends, and life’s challenges.
My focus with teens
I understand the pressures teens face: grades, transitions, friendships, identity, and the expectation to “have it all together.” I have experience supporting twice-exceptional (2e) and neurodivergent teens. I’m also familiar with special education and 504 plans, and can help teens develop strategies to manage emotions, strengthen social connections, and feel more confident at school.
Common goals in therapy
Together, we might work on:
Exploring values and interests — what your teen believes, feels, and hopes for, both now and in the future
Building tools to manage stress, establish routines, and find balance
Improving executive functioning and social skills - helping your teen stay organized, manage anxiety, and feel more confident in social situations
Using mindfulness, movement, or time in nature to ease anxiety (see Walk and Talk Therapy)
Collaborating — with your teen’s permission — with caregivers to make communication and support easier at home
Support for Overwhelmed Parents
Let’s be real — parenting can feel like a full-time balancing act. Between work, school schedules, meals, chores, and trying to keep up with everything else, it’s easy to feel like you’re constantly juggling, but still falling short.
If your child is struggling with big emotions, sensory needs, or difficulty staying organized, it can affect the whole family. You may be feeling stretched thin, unsure how to help, and end up putting yourself last.
While I’m not a parent myself, I’ve spent two decades supporting kids, teens, and families as an educator and school counselor. I understand how hectic life can be — and how small shifts can make a big difference.
I help parents find steadier footing by learning ways to co-regulate with their children, create more predictable routines at home, and carve out moments of care for themselves. We focus on practical, realistic changes that make family life feel calmer and more connected.
Availability
Flexible daytime, after-school and early-evening appointment times make it easier to fit therapy into your family’s schedule:
Monday: 9 - 6pm
Tuesday: 9 - 7pm (in-person availability)
Wednesday: 9 – 7pm (in-person availability)
Thursday: 9 - 7pm (in-person availability)
If your teen is navigating stress, identity questions, neurodiversity, or a major life transition — like starting high school or college — therapy can help them feel more grounded and supported. And if you’re a parent feeling stretched thin trying to hold it all together, therapy can be a space for you, too.
Counseling Support for Teens Navigating Big Feelings and Big Changes

Hi, I’m Bee (they/them). The teen years can feel like a rollercoaster — for both teens and their parents. You might see your child overwhelmed, moody, or shutting down. Maybe they’re struggling to talk to you, withdrawing from friends, or just not seeming like themselves.
As a parent, you want to help, but it can be hard to know what to say or how to reach them.
That’s where I come in.
A safe space for teens to be themselves
I work with teens ages 13 and up who are trying to make sense of big emotions, identity changes, or social pressures. These are years filled with growth and discovery, but they can also also bring confusion, fear, and loneliness. My goal is to offer your teen a space that feels safe enough to be honest, curious, and real.
When I was that age, I remember what it felt like to not have that space — to feel repressed, misunderstood, and unsure where I fit in. That experience shapes how I show up today: with gentleness, presence, and a deep respect for what teens are going through.
How therapy can help your teen
In our work together, I help teens:
Make sense of their emotions instead of bottling them up
Build self-acceptance and confidence
Navigate friendships, identity, and school stress
Communicate more effectively with family
Find healthy ways to cope when life feels overwhelming
Partnering with Parents and Caregivers
I know it can be hard to trust the process when you’re not always in the room. While therapy is your teen’s space, I value collaboration with parents and caregivers. I typically offer brief check-ins or updates about general themes and progress (with your teen’s consent) so you can stay informed and supported too.
My goal is to help you understand what your teen might need — without breaking the trust that helps them open up. Sometimes the work means helping your teen find their voice and sense of self, even when that looks different from what you expect. I hold space for both: your care as a parent, and your teen’s need to grow into who they are.
Availability
I know how busy life can get, so I hold after school and weekend hours to make therapy more accessible.
Wednesday: 3 – 6pm
Thursday: 3 – 6pm
Friday: 3 – 6pm (in-person availability)
Saturday: 12 – 6pm (in-person availability)
If your teen could use a supportive place to talk things through, I’d love to help!
Online Counseling for Teens
*I’m accepting clients for telehealth appointments.
Hi, I’m Sunny (he/him). I love working with teens because I remember what it’s like to feel misunderstood or unheard. I aim to be the adult who truly listens — someone your teen can talk to without fear of being judged or lectured. Teens often find me relatable and easy to connect with, which helps them open up and make progress in therapy.
The pressures teens face
The teenage years can be overwhelming — managing anxiety, social pressure, and identity while balancing independence with family expectations. As a BIPOC therapist, I’m especially attuned to the cultural and intergenerational dynamics that can make this stage even more complex, particularly in immigrant or multicultural families.
Beyond the therapy room
Alongside my clinical work, I partner with Indian American Community Services (IACS), where I speak with South Asian youth about confidence, identity, and finding balance between family and self. These conversations help me stay connected to what BIPOC teens are facing today — and how to support them in meaningful ways.
After school appointments available
I’ve opened up these afternoons in my schedule to accommodate after school appointments:
Monday: 3 - 6pm
Tuesday: 3 - 5pm
If your teen is struggling — or you just want them to have a space that feels safe, genuine, and growth-oriented — I’d love to support them in finding their footing.

Hi, I'm Bob (he/him). I'm a Teens Specialist and I see teens age 15+. I love working with teens and young adults! That’s because those years have been the most formative and memorable years of my life. If you and your teen are struggling, I want to help you get out of the rut.
Issues I help with
I enjoy helping teens and their families with depression, anxiety, neurodiversity, as well as drugs and alcohol use. I also offer parenting support and education around unique challenges families find themselves in at this phase of life.
The counseling I provide
I'm here to help teens and their parents understand each other and get along better no matter how bad it has gotten. The thing is, when you’re all fighting, it’s not like you’re having the time of your life. Conflict is stressful for everyone.
I want to help facilitate difficult conversations so both sides feel heard and understood. That’s often half the battle. If it is a problem with no quick solutions, I want to help everyone learn to deal with it without making things worse. If there are actions to be taken, they will be planned and well thought out.
Possible outcomes of therapy
You know you’re done with treatment when your “problem” is resolved. Whether it be difficulty getting along, or “I can’t get five words outta him,” those issues will be taken care of. Both sides will be happier.
Wouldn’t you want that?
After school, work and evening appointments available
I’m a night owl! Knowing how hectic life can be juggling extracurricular activities and home and work life, I provide the following afternoon and evening appointments:
Monday: 2:30 - 9pm
Tuesday: 3 - 9pm
Friday: 1:15 - 9pm
What my clients say about me
My clients will notice there’s a kid side to me. They find me very relatable and they appreciate the connection we have that helps move therapy forward. I balance being a good listener with being an active part of your treatment process.
