Therapy for Educators, School Counselors, and Administrators

*I have a waitlist for insurance clients. I’m currently seeing private pay clients while my LMHCA license is pending with the Washington State Department of Health.

Hi, I’m Kristin. Before becoming a therapist, I spent two decades in education — first as a teacher, then as a school counselor. I know firsthand how rewarding and meaningful this work can be, but I also know how exhausting it is to constantly show up for others while trying to maintain balance in your own life.

I understand educator burnout

If you are a teacher, counselor, administrator, or anyone working in a school setting, I am here to help. I get what it’s like to be in your shoes. You care deeply about your students, coworkers, and community — often at the expense of your own well-being. Long hours, emotional demands, and constantly shifting expectations can make it hard to pause, breathe, and reconnect with why you started this work in the first place.

A space to reflect and recharge

My experience in education gives me a unique perspective on the challenges you face — the juggling act between supporting others and taking care of yourself. In therapy, we can focus on setting healthy boundaries, managing stress and anxiety, and rediscovering joy both inside and outside of work. Whether you’re feeling burned out, overwhelmed, or ready to make a change, this is a space to slow down, reflect, and feel supported.

You don’t have to carry it all alone. Together, we’ll work toward a balance that feels realistic and manageable for your life.
