Couples or marriage counseling job opening

A Gottman or EFT-trained couples therapist - Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) or Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT), with consideration for Associates (LMHCA or LMFTA)

*Only applicable to clinicians who are fully licensed. It generally takes about 3 months to get paneled with an existing group contract.

What we are looking for (requirements)

As a Gottman or EFT-trained couples therapist, you might be a good fit for us if you:

  • hold an active, unrestricted LMHC, LMFT, LMHCA or LMFTA license in WA state

  • have at least one year of experience treating couples post grad school

  • are Gottman or EFT-trained through The Gottman Institute or ICEEFT

  • are invested in pursuing professional development and providing goal-directed treatment

  • can build up to seeing at least 15 clients per week, including an eve or a weekend

  • can build up to working at least 3 shifts per week between the hours of 7:30am-2pm or 2:30-9pm, with flexibility on the weekend

  • are open to guidance and are able to work independently

  • are willing to grow your referral base and recognition in the community through blog post writing, networking, giving presentations, etc.*

  • either don't have a private practice on the side, or your practice is at least 7 miles from People Bloom's Redmond location

*I continue to do much of the heavy lifting in making my clinicians at People Bloom known. While I may be good, I’m not you. The only way clients will start calling asking for you is if you also do some of your own marketing. I can provide you guidance on how to do this skillfully.
